Silly Simple Things You're Probably Doing Wrong

Brushing Your Teeth

Make sure you brush twice a day, for two minutes each. Use a soft-bristled brush and hold it at a 45-degree angle toward your gum line.

Washing Your Hands

Make sure you use soap and warm water and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.

Loading The Dishwasher

Keep heavier items on the bottom rack and lighter items on the top rack. Also, avoid nesting items and make sure all items are facing the same direction.

Making Scrambled Eggs

Use non stick pan and butter instead of oil. Beat the eggs with a fork until they are just combined. Cook them on low flame and keep stirring in between.

 Making Coffee

Use fresh, cold water and wash your beans just before cooking. Use the correct amount of base for your desired strength and do not over brew.

Making Toast

Use a toaster with an adjustable heat setting and set it to a medium to dark setting. Place the bread in the toaster and wait for it to get toasted.

Peeling An Orange

Cut off the top and bottom of the orange. Cut the orange into four parts and then remove the peel.

Popping Popcorn

Use a large, heavy-bottomed pot with a tight-fitting lid. Heat the pot over medium-high heat and add the kernels. Shake the pot occasionally until the popping stops.

Chopping Onions

Cut the onion in half and peel it off. Cut off the root tip and discard. Cut the onions into thin strips and then chop them.
